After a searing Saturday, temperatures Sunday felt downright chilly, but this week will feel a lot more like summer.

The meteorologists at WISN 12 News are predicting temperatures in the 70s and possibly into the 80s with storms possible every day through Wednesday.

“By Monday, the next warm front nears our area.  That may trigger some showers and thunderstorms by Monday afternoon,” forecaster Jeremy Nelson wrote in the news station’s weather blog. “The best chance of rain coming up is either Wednesday or Thursday.”

According to Channel 12’s seven-day forecast, rain continues to be a possibility through the end of the week, but there will also be quite a bit of sun on deck.
