Saturday dawned sunny and warm, and temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 80s with a good dose of humidity that’s expected to last at least through Monday.
Racine County dodged severe weather earlier this week but had almost an inch of needed rainfall and more rain is expected, according to the meteorologists at Fox 6 News.
“Tonight (will be) cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly late,” the forecast reads. “It will be warm and muggy with lows in the 70s.”
Sunday will also be hot and humid, starting with rain in the morning that will change to sunny skies in the afternoon.
The start of the work week will be cool; highs on Tuesday will dip to the mid- to upper 60s before rebounding by Wednesday to the mid-70s.
