Bonnie J. Molnar, 89, passed away Tuesday at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Bonnie was born in Sparta, WI, Jan. 30, 1927, daughter of the late John and Mable (Nee: Clifford) Denning.
On July 5, 1947 she was united in marriage to Steven C. Molnar who preceded her in death, Mar. 23, 1986. Bonnie was the manager of PDQ on Main and Three Mile for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Above all Bonnie devoted and cherished time spent with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Steven (Suzanne) Molnar, John (Sheila) Molnar; her five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joshua, Nicholas, and John Molnar; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Denning, Lilly (Lloyd) Mikulecky; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Frank; granddaughter, Stephanie Molnar; grandson, Aaron Molnar; sisters, Rosemary (Jerry) Kraetsch, Margaret (Frances) Cox; and brother, Joseph Denning.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Rita’s Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue, with Rev. Richard O’Leary officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Rita Catholic Church or to Wheaton Franciscan Hospice have been suggested.
