Ronald Gall (1)With his loving family by his side, Ronald D. Gall, 93, passed away Tuesday at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Ronald was born in Amery, WI, Jan. 9, 1923, son of the late Henry and Alda (Nee: Gamache) Gall.

During World War II, Ron proudly served in the United States Army Air Corps, stationed in the European Theater. On November 17, 1945 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Clarice M. Verbeten who preceded him in death, Dec. 30, 2012.  Ron was employed by the  for thirty-five years, retiring in 1985. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. An excellent carpenter, Ron loved woodworking and building homes. In his spare time he loved dancing with the Circle 8 Square Dancers and camping with family and friends at the Dells. Ron will be remembered also for his over the top Christmas decorations, his positive personality and his great love for his family.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Angie (Errol) Martin, Ken (Wanda) Gall, Joan (Douglas) Selky, Don Gall, all of Racine; six grandchildren, Ted, Joel, and Adam (Kate) Martin, Emelia and Lilian Selky; Riley Gall; great-grandchildren, William and Ramona Martin; sisters, Donna Mae Muraski, Arlene Londre; sister-in-law, Karen Verbeten; brother-in-law, Willis Vanderhoef; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife Clarice, he was preceded in death by his son, Ron; sister, Irene; brothers-in-law, Ed Londre and Gene Muraski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, on Monday at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Memorials to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church have been suggested.
