A 33-year-old Mount Pleasant woman is facing the next 30 years in prison because officers with the Racine County Metro Drug Unit say she was selling oxycodone from her home.
Melissa Minneti was charged Thursday in Racine County Circuit Court with two felony counts of delivery of schedule I or II narcotics. If convicted, she faces up to 30 years in prison and/or up to $100,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, investigators utilized a confidential informant on at least one day each in May and June to buy oxycodone from Minneti at her home in Mount Pleasant. During the transactions, the CI wore a video recording device. The complaint does not indicate how much oxycodone was purchased.
Minneti remains in the Racine County Jail on a $5,000 cash bond and is ordered to undergo drug testing on random dates as well as after each court date. She will next be in court July 28 for her preliminary hearing.
