Michele J. Peters, age 71, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Willowcrest Care Center. Michele graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 62”. She worked in the insurance industry and in project management.
Michele is survived by her children, Christopher (Lisa) Sorenson, Laura Mulvenna, Wendy (Guy) Leach and their children; siblings, Marcia Ortiz, Merri (James) Sayler and Sue (John) Kratochvil. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Robert Sorenson. She was proceeded in death by an infant daughter, Dawn Marie and her parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Visitation from 5 – 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
The family would like to thank the staff of Willowcrest and Vitas Hospice for their loving care.
