Drum and bugle corps, ethnic festivals and a bit of outdoors art can be found in Racine County this weekend. Come along with Real Racine!

Marching along. Racine’s famous Kilties host a popular local tradition on Saturday night. The Kiltie Klassic Invitational features the field shows of five drum and bugle corps at 7 p.m. Saturday at Horlick Field, 1638 N. Memorial Drive. Gates open at 6 p.m. This year’s performers are the Kilties, Minnesota Brass of St. Paul, Minn., The Govenaires of St. Peter, Minn., Erie (Pa.) Thunderbirds, Cincinnati Tradition and Chops Drum & Bugle Corps of Minneapolis. Admission is $12. Children age 12 and younger admitted free with a paid adult. Advance tickets at www.kilties.com A limited number of tickets will be available at the gate.

Festivals galore! Racine County’s ethnic festival season is in full swing this weekend. Serbian Festival, held at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 6108 Braun Road, Mount Pleasant, on Saturday and Sunday features traditional specialties including roast pork, lamb and chicken, and more than 30 varieties of pastries. There will also be live music performances by the Rastko Folklore Ensemble and free admission! At La Fiesta Mexicana, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at Caledonia-Mount Pleasant Memorial Park, 9614 Hwy. K, Caledonia, you’ll find Tejano and Mexican bands, costumed folkloric dancers, food and drink and kids activities. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6 through 12. Armenian Fest, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Festival Hall, 5 Fifth St., has homemade food filling the menu along with a marketplace, music and dancing. Admission is free! Donations are accepted.

Celebrating 85. You’re invited to help the Racine Symphony Orchestra (RSO) celebrate 85 years of music at the fund-raiser “Music for a Summer Evening” from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson Foundation at Wingspread, 33 E. Four Mile Road, Wind Point. The evening includes jazz performances by Jack Grassel and Jill Jensen, hors d’oeurves, desserts, beverages and auctions. Art is the star. This year’s Starving Artist Outdoor Art Fair will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at East Park, 11th and Main Streets. This is a juried art fair exhibiting and selling original artwork. A children’s corner, music and food are all part of the festivities. While browsing, you’re invited to participate in the silent auction to benefit the Racine Art Guild scholarship program.

Climb for a view. This month’s Wind Point Lighthouse Tour to the Top is 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 4725 Lighthouse Drive, Wind Point. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 through 11. Children ages 5 and younger are not allowed because of safety considerations. Reservations are recommended.
