The Wisconsin Humane Society is waiving fees Friday only for the first five adoptions at its Racine Campus.

After a successful event last week at Miller Park where fans of both WHS and the Milwaukee Brewers helped raise big money. Tickets to the team’s last home game of the season were only $10, and fans could also donate an additional $50 to the charity of their choice.

Wisconsin Humane Society received more than $81,000, and they want to give back.

“In gratitude to everyone who supported them in winning last week’s Brewers Give Back Game, they are waiving the fees for the first five adoptions in Racine,” WHS spokesperson Angela Speed said in a written release.

Another five adoptions at the WHS Ozaukee County facility and 20 in Milwaukee mean 30 families total will bring home a new furever friend without paying any fees. Adult cats are not included in this event since their adoption fees are already waived.

“The Wisconsin Humane Society has about 200 animals looking for new homes tomorrow alone, and all are ready to give back in kisses and tail wags themselves!” the statement continues.

The WHS Racine campus opens at 2 p.m. and is located at 2706 Chicory Road. Call (262) 554-6699.
