Lois A. Ritchey, 87, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016.  Born in Racine, December 6, 1928, Lois was the daughter of the late George and Alma (Nee:  Ginter) Kirsh.

Lois married James L. Ritchey on Nov. 21, 1951 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. James preceded  her in death, August 24, 2006. She worked at Sears for many years and belonged to the Sears retiree group. More than anything she cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, bingo, reading, and crafts.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Susan L. (John) Clemens; son, James G. (Holly) Ritchey; four grandsons, Eric M. (Wendy) Dowd, Jeffrey J. (Elisa) Dowd, Brad P. (Joni) Ritchey and Jason T. Ritchey; four great-grandchildren, Eric M. Dowd Jr., Grace A. Dowd, James R. Dowd, and William E. Dowd; brother, Ray (Bette) Kirsh; one niece, Nancy J. (Tim) Andersen; two nephews, Jeffrey Kirsh, John Kirsh; other relatives and many dear friends.   In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother and sisters-in-law, Donald (Mary Lou) Kirsh, Audrey Sill; and two nephews, Thomas and William Kirsh.

Funeral Service Details For Lois Ritchey

With the Rev. John Roekle officiating, funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 728 Villa. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorials to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church or the American Brain Tumor Association have been suggested.
