One person was transported to Froedtert Hospital Saturday night suffering injuries from at least one gunshot wound.
Racine police were dispatched at 7:26 p.m. Saturday to an area near the intersection of 16th Street and Grange Avenue for reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, they discovered one victim with injuries. They were transported to Ascension St. Mary’s and then transported to Froedtert Hospital for treatment.
A press release from RAPD Sgt. Adam Malacara does not indicate if any suspects are in custody. The incident remains under investigation.
