The Riversview Park subdivision, a development that has been around for 20 years, was promised streets lights. But it has been left in the dark, according to a story by the Journal Times.

Now the Caledonia Village Board is looking at why the lighting at the 28-house development was never put in. The development is located along the Root River east of Highway 31 and north of Highway 38 on Mona Park Road. Newport Development Corp. and K Corp of Racine promised to install the lights.

According to the story:

“It appears to be something that was supposed to be done and somehow it never got done,” said Caledonia Village Administrator Tom Christensen. “We’re trying to figure out where to go from here.”
