A mother and her daughter were arrested by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department Metro Drug Unit after the pair were found with crack cocaine and drug packaging materials.

Marlena D. Banks,41, of Racine and her daughter, were arrested shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday. They had 22 grams of crack, a scale, prescription medications and materials, police say, were used for packaging drugs.

Both are facing a litany of charges for delivery of crack within 1,000 feet of a school, keeping a drug house, possession of crack cocaine and possession of other drugs.

Banks’ preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 18.
