Investigators with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department are searching for a female suspected of robbing a clerk at a Kansasville gas station.

Deputies from the department responded to a robbery panic alarm at 7 p.m. Friday at the BP gas station, 22930 Durand Avenue in Kansasville. The clerk told the deputies that the female fled the scene on foot, but there was an unknown vehicle involved, according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

Armed with what looked like a roofing hammer or small hatchet, the female demanded cash from the clerk and left the store with a small amount of cash.

The woman is described as a white female, about five-foot four-inches tall, and medium build. She was last seen wearing a black leather like coat, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, black knit ski mask with two eye holes, and black gloves.
