Growing up in Racine, Mike Jackson has always been aware of the presence of racism but it’s not something that he lets dominate his life. How did he come to that understanding? A pastor in town took him in at the age of 16-years-old and he watched him work and make something of himself. He had role models and used the life lessons he learned from sports.
