State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Evers will be the featured speaker at the Democratic Party of Racine County’s monthly meeting from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at Infusino’s Banquet Hall, 3201 Rapids Drive.
Evers, who is seeking his fourth term, is up for election on April 4. He is running against Lowell Holtz, a retired Whitnall School District superintendent.
In the state primary election held Feb. 21, Evers took 69 percent of the vote and Holtz received 23 percent of the vote.
The meeting is open to the public.
