Town of Waterford  – A 25-year-old man is facing drug charges after law enforcement officials raided his Waterford home Monday afternoon, and discovered drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Joseph J. Mucha was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, being a keeper of a drug house for sales/manufacture, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges have been submitted to the Racine County District Attorney’s Office, but no charges have officially been issued.

Agents with the Racine County Metro Drug Unit along with the Racine County K-9 unit searched a home in the 6300 block of North River Bay Road at 1:50 p.m., according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

They discovered almost two pounds of marijuana, marijuana dabs, drug paraphernalia, a Taser, equipment that converts a handgun into a short-barreled rifle and about $64,000 in cash inside the residence. Dabs, also known as marijuana wax, are a wax-like substance derived from marijuana plants.

The dabs appear to have been commercially made in one of the states having legalized recreational marijuana use laws and shipped to Wisconsin, according to the press release.
