A trio of thieves have been identified, and one arrested, after stealing merchandise from retailers around southeastern Wisconsin.

Police have arrested one of them, Hope L Day, 44, of West Bend. The other two, Christopher D. King, 26, and Michael J. Tooley, 46, both from Milwaukee, are still at large.

Day was arrested by the Sturtevant Police Department for her involvement in a theft from Blain’s Farm and Fleet, 8401 Durand Ave., in January.

Day and the two men, stole nearly $6,000 worth of power tools from the store on January 17. An employee tried to stop them, but Day kicked and hit him.

They loaded the stolen tools into a silver Toyota Solara drove off. All three are charged with felony retail theft.
