A woman from Dousman is charged with burglary of a veterinary clinic in the Village of Caledonia.
Jennalynn Berzinski-O’Born, 31, was caught on tape burglarizing a veterinary clinic and residence on May 10 within the 10000 block of Northwestern Avenue, according to criminal complaint by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office.
Berzinski-O’Born, a former employee of the clinic, gained access by using a pass code. She stole money and ketamine, an anesthetic, from the business, as well as personal money from the owner.Â
When officers with the Caledonia Police Department asked Berzinski-O’Born about the burglary she denied the allegations. However, the business owner had a video of the crime. When police explained that she was seen on video committing the crime, Berzinski-O’Born told police she has trouble remembering things.
“I believe I did something stupid,” she told them.
Berzinski-O’Born is also a former employee at Central Bark in Waukesha. She was fired earlier in May, and Central Bark has also been burgled since her termination.
