Once again, the Village of Mount Pleasant will celebrate their community with Mount Pleasant Day on Saturday, September 16, 2017! This is a free, block party-like, family-oriented event. Mount Pleasant Day will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Civic Campus.

Mount Pleasant Day will bring businesses and residents together to enjoy a day of activities and fun. Vendor booths will include a large variety of Village businesses for people to explore. The event will also feature kids activities coordinated by the Sealed Air Family YMCA staff, games with the Mount Pleasant Police Department, like the dunk tank, Firefighter Combat Challenge activities run by South Shore Fire Department, live music, free food samples, raffles, and more! Be sure to bring two canned goods for Racine County Food Bank and receive a free raffle ticket!

Kids and adults will be able to explore and climb on fire engines, tractors, and trucks of all sizes.

The Village is proud to work with corporate sponsors to help fund the event, and volunteers to help staff the event throughout the day. The Village still welcomes additional sponsors and volunteers, and anyone interested in getting involved in Mount Pleasant Day should contact the Village. Businesses and citizens can find more information on sponsorships and volunteer activities on the village website. Schedule the date now for a day of fun and excitement of all things Mount Pleasant!

Lot parking on the day of the event will include the north Village Hall parking lot, with limited senior/handicap parking located at the east end of the parking lot. Attendees can also park along portions of Campus Drive and all of 90th Street.

Racine County Eye will be a vendor this year, so stop by our booth and say hello!
