A man is in critical condition after they were shot in the 1100 block of Blake Avenue on Sunday.

Details surrounding the shooting are limited.

Officers with the Racine Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Blake Avenue at 7:04 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Rescue personnel from the Racine Fire Department took the man to Ascension Hospital — All Saints.

Police are still investigating the incident. No one is in custody.

Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime.  Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
