A 25-year-old Milwaukee man brought two teenage girls to Racine County to have sex with a man who turned out to be an undercover police officer in a sting operation.

Jahlani Davis was charged Friday in Racine County Circuit Court with one felony count of trafficking a child. If convicted, he could spend up to 40 years in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, officers set up a sting at a hotel off of I-94 where Davis delivered a 17-year-old girl for a $200 date. The other girl remained in the car with Davis.

Police say the second girl told them both teenagers were from Menasha and had traveled to Milwaukee a few days before the incident where they were contacted by Davis about going on “dates” arranged by him using Backpage.com. The girl confirmed they were expected to perform sex acts and then give half the money back to Davis.

Davis remains in the Racine County Jail on a $2,500 cash bond. He will next be in court Oct. 18 for his preliminary hearing.
