Mary A. Bunck, 95, passed away on Saturday, October 21st. Mary was born in Racine on January 28, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Francis and Irene (Nee: Murray) Bronenkant.
Mary was employed at Walker Manufacturing for thirty years, and retired in 1990. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Karen Nelsen, Brian Nelsen, both of Racine; her grandchildren, Kevin (Lim) Peterson, Michelle (Bobby) Conley, Daniel (Debbie) Peterson, Jason Nelsen; and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Elroy J. Nelsen and Paul J. Bunck; grandchildren, Michael Peterson and Mathew Peterson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home with the family Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
