A debate-style candidate forum for the 66th State Assembly District involving John Tate II and Greta Neubauer will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gateway Technical College, 1001 Main St., in the Great Lakes Room.
A special election will be held Dec. 19 for the position, which was left vacant after Cory Mason was elected in October.
Dr. Milton Dockery, the head of the history department for the Milwaukee Area Technical College, will act as the facilitator for the event. The NAACP is hosting the event. Areas of concern to be discussed include education, the environment, transportation, Foxconn, equality in healthcare, and quality of life.
“These two young exciting candidates will showcase their knowledge, goals, and expertise concerning matters of importance to the concerned citizens and voters of the district,” according to a press release by the NAACP.
