Jeffrey S. Brandes, 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, following a battle with Mesothelioma. Jeffrey was born in Kenosha on October 17, 1957, and was the son of the late Raymond and Joyce (nee: Robinson) Brandes.

Following graduation from Bradford High School, Jeff proudly served in the United States Army. On July 26, 1986, he was united in marriage to Laurie Holburn, who preceded him in death in 2006. Jeff was employed with the Nestle Company for over the past thirty years. He was united in marriage to Lynette Braznell on May 3, 2008. In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed the outdoors and his second home in Grand Marsh where he loved to hunt and spend endless hours on the lake fishing. An avid Packers fan, he also liked playing cards, his frequent trips to the casinos, and loved his time spent with his family especially playing with his grandchildren.

Jeff will be dearly missed by his wife, Lynn; his children, Katelyn “Katie” Brandes of Eugene, OR and her son Tyson, Jennifer (Rick) Anderson, Jessica (Mason) Grabher, Ashley (Ben) Dunk; grandchildren, Brittany and Brianne Andersen, Gage (Faith) Grabher, Hailey and Peyton Grabher, Miles and Lincoln Dunk; great grandchild, Delilah Grabher; siblings, Linda Quast, Charles (Margie) Brandes, Raymond Brandes, Richard Brandes, David (Tiffany) Brandes; mother-in-law, Viola Braznell; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janice (John) Wiley, Lorraine (Jeff) Trick; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents and his first wife, Jeff was also preceded in death by his grandson, Elwood.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church on Monday at 11 a.m.  Interment with Full Military Honors will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
