Then join Racine Heritage Museum for our first annual Winter Gala, where you will be transported back in time to the most decadent of decades – Racine County in the Roaring Twenties!
A Night at the Speakeasy will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Racine Civic Centre, 5 Fifth Street.
This glamorous, not-to-be-missed gala will truly embody the Jazz Age and everything that came with it, including live music, provided by the Jack Farina 17-piece Big Band, “giggle water,” dinner and dancing. On display will be vintage 1920s items from the Museum’s collection, including a Racine-made NASH Coupe, CASE Model Y, Mitchell Sedan, plus much, much, more!
It will be an unforgettable night of reveling for a great cause – a party you can feel good about. By directly supporting the care and preservation of Racine County’s unique and remarkable history and Racine Heritage Museum’s work to bring that history to life through expanded outreach programming, you will have a direct impact on the museum’s core mission: to preserve and tell the stories of Racine County and it’s people.
Racine Heritage Museum is home to over 200,00 artifacts and an extensive archival collection, over 6,500 linear feet (that is over 1-mile!) of original source documentary material, documenting our area’s economic and cultural history.

Racine Heritage Museum is located at 701 Main Street in downtown Racine. The Museum is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving the material culture and telling the special stories of the people of Racine County; their achievements, diversity, inventive genius, productivity, craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit. Racine Heritage Museum is open Tuesday – Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and on Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. Admission is always free.
