A Waterford man is now charged with repeated sexual assault of a child involving a nine-year-old girl over the course of five years.

Gregory Frank, 67, was charged by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office on Monday. If convicted of the charge, he faces up life in prison. The charge stems from another investigation conducted by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, who raided his home last week and found 500 hundred images of child pornography.

During that investigation, officials found photos of the girl.

According to the criminal complaint. Frank inappropriately started touching the girl, who was nine-years-old in 2012, about 10 times until 2016.

The girl told investigators that Frank touched her under her shirt and bra, and then fondled her genitals.

“The abuse stopped for a period of time but (she) stated that the last touching occurred when she was in the 8th grade,” the complaint reads. “She stated this terrified her because she did not want the abuse to start again and has anger issue as a result of the touching.”

Frank already faces a total of 448 years in prison and fines of more than $1.6 million from charges filed last week, which included 16 felony counts of possession of child pornography.

Investigators with the Racine County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Racine County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant Feb. 21. Investigators seized DVDs, thumb drives, SD cards, laptop and desktop computers, cell phones, digital cameras, tablets and a VHS videotape.
