Press Release from Racine County Executive Office

The Racine County and Kenosha County Veterans Services offices, in partnership with Tabak Law LLC, are offering a no-cost Will Clinic for veterans and their spouses/domestic partners on Saturday, May 12, 2018. The clinic will be held at the Kenosha County Human Services building, 8600 Sheridan Road. Free legal services will be provided on topics including wills, financial powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney and living wills.

“The Will Clinic is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation for the service of Wisconsin veterans in two great counties. We are very grateful to Tabak Law offices for their partnership and generosity,” Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave said.

In addition to Tabak Law LLC, the State Bar of Wisconsin’s pro bono program lends more expertise to the Will Clinic. “This program is much-needed and would not be possible without strong partners, like Ali Nelson and the Kenosha County staff,” said Bradley Behling, Racine County Veterans Services Officer.

The Will Clinic will run, by appointment, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The public is asked to sign-up for the clinic and complete a mandatory estate planning questionnaire by May 11. If you or a loved one can benefit from this opportunity, please call Racine County Veterans Service Specialist Karen Harrison at 262.638.6686 to schedule an appointment.
