Patricia Ann “Patti” Robash, 68 passed away on Thursday after a brief illness, in the presence of her family. She was born in Racine on November 20, 1949, to the late Joseph and Charlotte (nee: Metzger) Barranco.
Patti was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. For many years she made her living as a cashier at Piggly Wiggly and Shopko where it was customary for patrons to wait a little longer just to go through her checkout line.
Patti will always be remembered as a selfless and devout mother to her children up until the very end. She will be dearly missed by sons Jonathan (Colleen) Robash, Jamie Robash, daughters Jacquelyn (Richard) Beere and Ashley Robash (Jordan Hulsey), grandchildren Thurston and Margaux, sisters JoAnne Barranco, Carol (William) Haigh, brother Mark (Terri) Barranco, and her spirited miniature schnauzer Marshmellow, as well as her niece, nephews, and countless dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Jacklyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 25, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Steve Varghese officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday, at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Little Buddies Rescue have been suggested.
