Patricia Lee Dickert, 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday. Pat was a “Christmas present” born in Beloit, Wisconsin on December 25, 1933 to the late Bernard and Mearl (Nee: DeMontigny) Mooney.
Pat graduated from St Catherine’s High School “Class of 1951”. On October 15, 1955, at St. Rose Parish she was united in marriage to David J. Dickert and together they raised 6 children. David passed away on April 5, 1992. Pat retired as an administrative assistant at Johnson Bank where she was employed for 22 years. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She loved traveling, playing Uno, taking photos and bird watching – her favorite being the eagle. Above all it was time spent with her family that she treasured the most, especially time with her grandchildren. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Penny) Dickert, Peter (Lee) Dickert, Anne (Donald) Noll, John (Teresa) Dickert, Anthony (Catty) Dickert; daughter-in-law Jill; grandchildren, Dani, Christopher and Zoe Dickert, Brian and Cory Noll, Riley and Eleanor Dickert, Megan and Michael Dickert; in laws; Mary Ann (Ray) Coffin, Jim (Dixie) Dickert, Lee (Judy) Dickert, Margie (John) Burgess, Cathy (Tom) Scoville, Carol (Jacob) Scherr. In addition to her parents and husband Dave, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel; 2 brothers, Bernard and Richard (Adele) Mooney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Father Steve Varghese officiating. Relatives and friends may meet Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Memorials to Siena Center and St Joseph Church have been suggested.
