In partnership with the Racine Family YMCA, County Executive Jonathan Delagrave is inviting Racine County residents to an open house at the SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center.
The open house will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. The SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center is located at Racine County’s Pritchard Park, 2800 Ohio St.
The open house gives residents an opportunity to tour the new facility, speak with officials including Delagrave and staff of the Racine Family YMCA, which operates the aquatic center, learn about the programs and swimming lessons available, and sign up for a membership.
SC Johnson is providing food and drinks, including hot dogs, cookies and lemonade, as well as a DJ and entertainment. The Racine Family YMCA will also hold a drawing for a family seasonal pass. Swimming will not be open during the event.
The SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center opened to the public on Saturday, June 2, following a grand opening celebration held Wednesday, May 30.
