Jammin’ for Journalism, a Racine County Eye member-only event set for Oct. 7, will feature Brian Koenig and Ty Christian from Lords of the Trident.

Racine County Eye is hosting the event to “treat” paid members of Racine County Eye for supporting local journalism and encourage other community members to sign-up for a paid membership.

Denise Lockwood, the owner of the Racine County Eye news website, said she hopes to hold at least two events per year (maybe three if we reach over 300 members by October).

“Supporting local journalism is crucial to a thriving community,” she said. “And this is a fun way for people to show their support and have fun too. We’re grateful to our friends from Lords of the Trident for helping us to put on this special event.”

Who are these Lords you speak of?

Lockwood and her fiance Larry Davis (AKA Mr. Denise) have been huge fans of Lords of the Trident for years. He’s also been dubbed Larry the Steadfast by several band members.

They typically play heavy metal, but Koenig and Christian will play a variety of original and cover music.
