A report of a man doing a line of cocaine in the bathroom of a City of Burlington restaurant led to three criminal charges being filed Monday in Racine County Circuit Court against a 30-year-old Burlington man Monday.
Seth Aaron Kulick faces a felony charge of possession of cocaine and two felony charges of bail jumping.
The cocaine charge carries a fine of $10,000 and three years, six months in prison, while both bail-jumping charges carry a fine of $10,000 and six years in prison.
Kulick, who is in custody, made his initial court appearance Monday.
According to the criminal complaint:
A Burlington police officer was called to Lucky Mojo’s, 460 N. Pine St., Sunday, for a report of a male doing a line of cocaine in the bathroom.
The officer found Kulick and another male in a stall and observed the defendant straightening out a small line of a white powdery substance with an unknown object. The substance later tested positive for 0.01 grams of cocaine.
Court records indicate the defendant has previous felony convictions for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, along with a misdemeanor conviction for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A preliminary hearing has been set for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 30 in front of Racine County Court Commissioner Alice Rudebusch.
