Racine County welcomes Harley-Davidson 115th anniversary visitors with music, traveling motorcycle parties and more! This Labor Day weekend also includes festivals, water skiing and scenic views. Celebrate with Real Racine.

Motorcycles everywhere. Those big, beautiful motorcycles are arriving and two Racine area spots are ready! Porcaro Indian Motorcycle of Racine and The Nash, 522 Sixth St., along with the Nash Indian Riders Group, are hosting a Legends Rally from Thursday through Sunday. A highlight is an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest Indian Motorcycle Ride starting at 12 noon Saturday. Everyone’s invited to see the parade of 200+ Indian bikes cruise Main Street to the Wind Point Lighthouse and back. Last call for the Aquaducks. The Browns Lake Aquaducks water-ski show wraps up the season with weekend performances from Fischer Park, 30326 Durand Ave., Burlington. The junior show starts at 5 p.m. Thursday followed by the main show at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the junior show is at 4:30 p.m. and the main show gets under way at 6 p.m. All the performances are free.
Take the climb. The Wind Point Lighthouse, 4725 Lighthouse Drive, Wind Point, is open for tours on Saturday and Sunday. It’s a rigorous144 steps up the winding staircase to the top but the view is worth the effort! Be sure to wear sturdy shoes — flip flops won’t cut it. Tour hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 through 11. Because of safety considerations, children age 5 and younger may not make the climb. Advance reservations are a must. Visit www.windpointlighthouse.org
Serbian food and fun. St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 826 State St., Racine, is celebrating the weekend with a two-day festival. Enjoy food specialties like cevapi (sausages)and janjetina (roast lamb) along with home-made desserts. Tours of the historic church will be offered. Festival hours are 12 noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Free admission.
Monday car show. You’re invited to celebrate Labor Day at the 2018 Racine Labor Fest Car and Bike Show. It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday (Labor Day) at Caledonia-Mount Pleasant Park, 9614 Northwestern Ave. Classic, antique, muscle, custom cars and motorcycles are welcome. Vehicle registration is $10 and includes lunch, two beverage tickets and dash plaque. Trophies for the top three cars and the top two bikes will be awarded at 3:30 p.m. Admission to Labor Fest is a non-perishable food donation for the Racine County Food Bank.
