The Racine Symphony is one of Wisconsin’s oldest symphony orchestra in continuous operation. Established in 1932 by Frederick Schulte, the name Racine Symphony Orchestra was adopted in 1935 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1935. Since its establishment, over 400 concerts have been held in various spaces including schools, colleges, churches, historical locations and cultural attractions. Our continually evolving music education programs reach and teach “students” from preschool through senior citizens. With a strong foundation and clear mission, the RSO has continued to thrive under the tremendous support of the Racine community, from individuals to corporations and charitable foundations. We are proud to be entering our 87th season as part of the vibrant performing arts community of Racine.
