A second person was charged Friday in Racine County Circuit Court as part of an ongoing undercover drug operation.
DeJean T. Samson, 43, Racine, is charged with three felony counts of deliver of a schedule I or II narcotic and a felony charge of maintaining a drug-trafficking place.
If convicted of all four charges, Samson faces a $160,000 fine and 48 years, six months in prison.
Louriean M. Bonner, 56, Racine was previously charged with 14 criminal charges Thursday that carries a total fine of $420,000 and 129-1/2 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint against Samson: On three separate occasions this fall, a confidential informant met with Samson to purchase drugs.
On Sept. 17, the informant met Samson at Shopko, 4801 Washington Ave., Racine, and purchased 11 white oval pills from Samson, who was driving a vehicle with Bonner in the passenger seat. The pills were later identified as Vicodin.
The following day, the informant purchased five Vicodin pills from Samson, and on Sept. 26, the informant completed a purchase of four Vicodin pills.
Bonner is charged with seven felony counts of maintaining a drug-trafficking place, six felony counts of delivery of a schedule I or II narcotic/possession with intent to deliver and one felony count of delivery of a schedule I narcotic.
According to the criminal complaint: Officers with the Racine County Sheriff’s Office Metro Drug Unit used a confidential informant to make undercover purchases Nov. 14, Dec. 7 and 8, 2017, and Sept. 28, Oct. 1 and 5 of this year.
The informant met with Bonner at 700 Lake Ave. and purchased 10 Percocet pills and five Vicodin No. 14, 2017 and 20 Vicodin pills Dec. 7 and 8.
On Sept. 28, an informant purchased 10 Vicodin pills from the defendant at 4620 Washington Ave. Similar purchases of Vicodin pills were made from the defendant in October.
Bonner is due back in Racine County Circuit Court for a preliminary hearing Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. Samson made her initial court appearance Friday afternoon.
