Michelle M. Martin (NEE: ROBERTS), 52, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 20 as a result of a tragic accident. Born in Harvard, Illinois, she was the daughter of Ray and Karen Halderson.
Michelle graduated from Case High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside for her undergraduate studies. She majored in Art, with a minor in Art History. Michelle married William “Bill” H. Martin on Oct. 30, 1996. She was a longtime employee of Danny’s Meats and Catering.
Michelle enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, like cooking for her family, watching hummingbirds, and traveling. She was always laughing and her family and friends very much cherished her company.
Michelle will be deeply missed by her loving husband of twenty-two years, Bill; her parents, Ray and Karen Halderson; her children, Corey Jurkiewicz, and Clairissa Rodriguez; her adored grandbabies, Nathalia Rodriguez and Milos Rodriguez; and many friends and loved ones.
The memorial service for Michelle will be held on Sunday, Nov. at 3 p.m. at The Hickory Hall, 5844 Douglas Avenue. Friends and relatives may meet with the family there from 1-3 p.m.
