What’s happening this week

The highest unemployment rate in the state belongs to Racine. Thousands of jobs are headed to Racine County, but area manufacturers are having major issues finding and keeping talent. Racine County Eye is hosting an event called News Up, Racine County: Barriers to Employment that begins on November 15 at 6 p.m. held at The Offices at 410 Main St. Mark your calendar for this FREE event. Have brunch with Santa! On December 2, The Branch will be hosting their 2nd annual Polar Express Brunch from 12-1:30 p.m. The brunch will be buffet-style and will include a visit from Santa, a special gift for each child, a craft, photo opportunities (bring your own cameras), and a hot chocolate bar for children. For adults, there will be mimosas and bloody marys available for purchase. Tickets are available online or at The Branch during cafe hours from 8 – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Branch is located at 1501 Washington Avenue.

Kick-off the holiday season with the Racine Symphony Orchestra’s Holiday Pops Concert being held on December 7 from 7-9 p.m. Come early and enjoy food and beverages from O&H before the concert begins!
