A series of undercover drug purchases earlier this year led to six felony charges filed Tuesday in Racine County Circuit Court against a 56-year-old Racine woman.

Caroline K. Harris is charged with three counts of delivery of a schedule I or II narcotic and three counts of maintaining a drug-trafficking place.

Each of the delivery charges carry a fine of $50,000 and 15 years in prison, while the three other felonies each carry a fine of $10,000 and three years, six months in prison.

According to the criminal complaint: Officers with the Racine County Sheriff’s Office Metro Drug Unit made a controlled buy from Harris on March 29 with the use of a confidential informant.

The informant met the defendant at her home, 2121 DeKoven Ave., and purchased three morphine pills.
Two similar purchases were made April 11 and 19 at the defendant’s residence, both for five morphine pills.
Harris made her initial court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
