Be prepared to round up your buddies and have a good ol’ pick up game because the Village of Mount Pleasant is planning to expand Campus Park.
Although the Village Board has yet to approve a timeline or funding for the park project, we will likely see it in the near future. Right now, the park is no more than a playground and an open expanse. However, the village plans to add a soccer field, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and two softball fields. The Village Ad Hoc Committee met on Wednesday to discuss what the new park may look like.
