Ron Clone was emancipated from this life November 15, 2018. with his fiance at his side.

Ron was a brother, father, coach, friend, fiancé, but most, a teacher. He taught children for over 30 years, retiring two years ago from the Racine Unified School District. Ron’s intelligence, passion, and patience made him an exceptional teacher that impacted the lives of many students and will continue to make a difference well into the future.

Ron was one of ten siblings of the late Ken and Norine Clone. of Eaton Rapids MI. During his younger days, Ron played football and was an avid runner. Ron was a proud father and was instrumental in his children’s lives. Later in life he enjoyed bike rides, walks on the lake, kayaking, road trips or family gatherings.

Ron was a Spartan through and through and he loved watching MSU games. You rarely saw him without something MSU on. He was a lifelong conservationist and as with everything he was passionate about he lead by example. Ron had a giving heart and infectious smile. His genuine soul was a gift to all lucky enough to know him.

He is survived by his five brothers: Terry, Pat, Phil, Al, and Mike; his sister, Shari; his children: Megan, Sara and Ryan; his grandson, Gavin; the love of his life Christine Scott and her three children: Quinn, Cailey, and Cecelia, and many friends.

Please join us in celebrating his life on Dec. 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Georges Tavern, 1201 Main St. In lieu of flowers please donate to Our Harmony Club, a nonprofit that helps people who may have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease, suffered a stroke, or have been socially isolated.
