Gerald T. “Jerry” Mevis, 60, passed away in the company of his family on Monday, November 26, 2018. He was born on July 19, 1958, in Racine. He was the son of the late Cadwell and Judith (nee: Nerad) Mevis.
Jerry attended Washington Park High School and graduated in 1976. He worked at Ludwig Manufacturing. He had many hobbies, but most of all he enjoyed watching sports, including the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukee Brewers. Jerry was known for his kind disposition and warmth towards others.
Jerry will be dearly missed by his siblings, Mike (Margie) Mevis of Appleton, Joe (Becky) Mevis of Oshkosh, and Cindy (Steve) Petersen of Franksville; nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
There will be private family services in Three Lakes in the spring.
