Thomas Warren Aegerter, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his residence. Born on July 16, 1942 in Racine, Thomas was the son of the late Warren and Mabel (Nee: Sorenson) Aegerter.
Thomas attended Horlick High School and graduated in 1960. He married Jeanette Mielcarek on October 13, 1962 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Thomas was employed by Western Publishing for 40 years, before retiring in 2000. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. In his free time, Thomas enjoyed fishing and hunting. In fact, he had his own getaway on the Mississippi River in Genoa, WI. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Jeanette; sons, David (Colleen) Aegerter, Michael (Jane) Aegerter, Scott Aegerter (Kelly); grandchildren, Jonathan (Sam), David, Ashley, Jacob, and Hannah; great granddaughter, Natalie; in-laws; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, December 20, at 12 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 2065 Geneva St. Reverend Stephen Jennings will be officiating. Friends and relatives can meet with the family at 10:30 a.m. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church have been suggested.
