Spectrum Sports Wisconsin channel, formerly Time Warner Sports, was canceled and removed from the air this week, according to a story in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The channel was renamed in 2016 when Charter Communications acquired Time Warner. Viewers who tune to Channel 32 will see the message, “Programming has concluded on this network. The latest local news, weather & sports now available on Ch. 1.”

Similarly, Spectrum cable systems nationwide have been replacing all-sports channels with local news channels. The only regional/local sports channels left on the air are in Kansas City and Southern California.
