Inesa Vrublevskis, 69, died Jan. 4 at the Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. She battled Multiple Sclerosis for 30 years, but it was the sudden diagnoses and disposition of cancer that ultimately took her. She was daughter to the late Antons and Briva (nee: Ziemelis) Vrublevskis.
She was born in Bad Reichenhall, Germany on September 6, 1949. Inesa migrated from Germany in 1950 with her parents. Since migrating she and her family have called Racine home.
Inesa graduated from Wm. Horlick High School in 1967. Following high school, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Sociology from UW-Parkside, and a Master’s Degree of Communications at UW-Milwaukee. In her free time, Inesa enjoyed reading and devoted much time and time to her education. She also loved driving her Mustang.
Surviving are her sons, Anthony (Kathy) Ellingson and Shane (Sarah) Campbell; grandchildren, Courtney (Dustin) Kollman and Tyler Ellingson; sister, Iris (Larry) Grimes; her second mother, Theresa Vrublevskis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
There will be a memorial service at Maresh Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home on February 9th, 2019 at 11 a.m. Friends and relatives can meet with the family at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, have been suggested.
