RAYMOND, WI – A 19-year-old Racine man died following a two-car crash that happened at 1:52 p.m. Thursday on County Trunk Highway U just south of 7 Mile Road.

Dylan Pavia was driving a Chevrolet Monte Carlo when he veered into oncoming traffic and struck a Chrysler Town & Country van. The Monte Carlo rolled several times before it came to a stop in a field. Ejected from the car, Pavia died at the scene.

“The initial caller, who was not involved in the accident, was a member of the Raymond fire and rescue. He informed dispatchers that a person was ejected from one of the vehicles and appeared deceased and lying in a field,” according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

The 84-year-old Franksville woman driving the van not injured.

“The Racine County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our sympathy to the family and friends of Dylan Pavia,” the press release reads.
