“In my first budget, I made a commitment to investing in our parks. Launching biergartens in two great locations is part of that commitment,” said Mayor Cory Mason. “Residents can now take a Saturday to go to the beach, visit the zoo, and then stop by the beirgarten just across the street at Lakeview Park to enjoy a brew, live music, and games.”

Belle City Biergarten, operated by Hop Heads Hospitality & Events, was created in conjunction with the City of Racine Parks and Recreation Department to provide a unique community gathering spot for the city and draw families back into the city parks.  Hop Heads Hospitality & Events also operates the Franksville Craft Beer Garden.

“Our primary focus has always been community building,” explained Hop Heads’ co-owner Ken Michel, Jr., “A biergarten is a catalyst for bringing neighbors together and making new friends.”
