City of Racine – Mayor Cory Mason will be hosting the first “Renters Roundtable” at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 5th at the Racine Public Library. The Mayor, who will be joined by members of the Common Council, want to hear directly from Racine’s renters about their experiences renting in the City. Before the City can considers policy changes to improve rental housing in Racine, elected officials and city staff need to hear directly from renters about their experiences.

“I want to ensure that all of our City’s residents have access to safe, quality, affordable housing. The Renters Roundtable is a great opportunity for renters to share their experiences directly with policy makers so that we can make informed decisions about the changing needs of housing policy in Racine,” said Mayor Cory Mason.

The Renters Roundtable will be a safe space for renters to participate in small group discussions and get a chance to share their experiences with the Mayor and with members of the Racine Common Council.

Food and raffle prizes too! Join us for this event: Monday, August 5th from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Racine Public Library, Second Floor.
