YORKVILLE, WI – Two Chicago men were arrested on drug charges by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department after deputies found over 150 grams of cocaine and fentanyl, marijuana, and ecstasy during a traffic stop.

Timothy Parham, 30, and Martell Harris, 28, were arrested at 10:14 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 41 near 7 Mile Road after drivers reported that Parham was driving recklessly, according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials with the Racine County District Attorney’s Office have not issued charges against the men.

Parham was arrested for the following:

  • Operate with a restricted controlled substance
  • Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
  • Possession with intent to deliver THC
  • Possession THC
  • Possession drug paraphernalia
  • Possession MDMA
  • Traffic citation for lane deviation

Harris was arrested for the following:

  • Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
  • Possession THC
  • Traffic citation for open intoxicants

“Besides swerving all over the road the vehicle was reportedly varying speeds between 45 mph to 85 mph,” according to the press release.

During the investigation, deputies found two bags of cocaine and fentanyl that totaled 152.6 grams, seven individual bags of marijuana that weight 7.3 grams, a marijuana cigarette, two bottles of CBD oil, a vape pen that tested positive for THC, and an ecstasy pill.

Parham and Harris also had cups filled with brandy.

“Timothy did say that he had consumed alcohol and marijuana a few hours prior to the stop. He further said that some of the
marijuana found in the vehicle was his,” the press release reads.

The men said they didn’t know about the fentanyl/cocaine being found in the car. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is similar to morphine but is 50 to 100 times more potent. It is a prescription drug that is also made and used illegally.

Both Parham and Harris are being held at the Racine County Jail.
