Junior Achievement is one of over 45 nonprofits showcased at this year’s Harborfest: Celebrating Racine & Kenosha Counties.  They have been involved with Harborfest for three years! Volunteering with JA is one of the best ways to help promote financial literacy!

Founded in 1919, Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about work readiness and ensuring the success of the younger generations. The mission of Junior Achievement is to ensure that every child in Wisconsin has an opportunity to obtain an understanding of the free enterprise system. Working with children from kindergarten to 12th grade, JA of Wisconsin is volunteer-delivered and fosters entrepreneurship as well as financial literacy skills.

JA benefits from individual contributions and corporate giving, as well as by donations and volunteers. By volunteering, you inspire change in many lives and have an amazing impact on students.
