Racine, WI: In unanimous votes, the Visioning a Greater Racine (VGR) Board of Directors accepted the nominations of two passionate community advocates to fill executive leadership positions on the board. Mario Martinez has been named as President-elect and Jomarie Coloriano will fill the vacant Secretary seat. Martinez is a Racine native, President and CEO of the Marz Group, City of Racine Planning commissioner, and Chairman and Founder of Amigos de Cesar Chavez Community Center. VGR founder, Tom Buhler, will remain on the board, completing his tenure December 31, 2020.

Martinez’s passionate leadership and strong business background support the momentum, programing, and excitement brought forward by VGR’s hundreds of volunteers working on W.A.V.E. (Working, Action, Vision, Engagement) Teams.
